Motivation to become a member of the board
Lyanne met Nicoline and Jonathan due to the admission of their son Miracle in the Juliana Children’s Hospital in The Hague where she works and as a result of the premature birth of Miracle in Nigeria and an accompanying complicated medical issues. In the course of time she felt the enthusiasm and perseverance with which Foundation Dare2Care was setup by Nicoline and Jonathan. Within a very short time they have already achieved a lot. Without the intention for profit making but for philanthropy reasons they had already motivated several people to support the Foundation.

Personally, Lyanne has some experience with development agencies and developmental assistance in needing countries. She is interested in developmental assistance in all its forms. This interest and the solid footing that the Foundation already has, made her respond enthusiastically when she asked to join the Foundation’s board and to use her network in helping the Foundation in performing its activities.

Lyanne has a big heart for all children, and of course especially for those who require extra care in the Netherlands or elsewhere. She has the knowledge of pediatrics and neonatology and has an advisory role in the Foundation.
